1. Admin / Customer can subscribe and unsubscribe the Magento 2 SMS Alerts Extension.
2. Admin can set the reminder duration with the Magento 2 Reminder SMS Module to send in a specified frequency.
3. Admin has the ability to enable and disable SMS notifications on place order and send Magento 2 Order Notification messages while placing an order.
4. Enable and disable notifications for Invoice generation with the Magento 2 Invoice SMS Extension.
5. Enable and disable notifications for shipment order updates using the Magento 2 Shipment SMS Notification module.
6. Customize SMS body with variables like order quantity, customer first/last name, increment ID, and grand total.
7. Twilio allows store owners to buy a number from specific countries, so sellers can send SMS globally.

Install SMS Module

Extract the zip file on path Magento/app/code/Sms
Now, run these commands in the Magento 2 root directory:

• composer require twilio/sdk
• php bin/magento setup:upgrade
• php bin/magento setup:di:compile
• php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

Module Configuration

After the installation of the Magento 2 Twilio SMS Integration Module, navigate through:

Stores > Configuration > Marketplace > Marketplace Twilio Configuration Settings

• • Is Enabled: Enable/Disable the Magento 2 SMS Module for eCommerce Stores.
  • Subscription Label: This label is shown to customers on account creation and edit pages.
  • Order Frequency (Days): Set after how many days customers can place the order.
  • Send Reminder Before (Days): Enter days before which the reminder will be sent to the customer.
  • Message Body: Message to be sent for reminding the customer.
  • Frequency Days Count From: Options – Invoice or Place Order.

Account SID / Auth Token / Send From Number: Twilio configuration credentials.

Create product page for SMS subscription

• Order > Enabled: Enable messaging on order placement.
• Order > Message: Add the message to be sent on order placement.
• Shipment > Enabled: Enable messaging on shipping.
• Shipment > Message: Add the message for shipment notification.
• Invoice > Enabled: Enable messaging on invoicing.
• Invoice > Message: Add the message to be sent for invoice updates.

Customer account create on Admin end

• Phone number (SMS): Add/update the customer’s phone number.
• Next Order Date (SMS): Add/update the next order date.
• Allow to send SMS: Toggle subscription for SMS messaging.

Customer account edit on Admin end

• Phone number (SMS): Add/update the customer’s phone number.
• Next Order Date (SMS): Update when the order will be placed.
• Allow to send SMS: Toggle subscription.

Customer Account Create on Customer End

• Subscribe SMS Messaging: Customers can check/uncheck subscription.
  
• Phone number (with country code): Customers can add their phone number.

Customer Account Edit on Customer End
